Skew Whiff

Grant and his friends are thugs. They are used to hurting and causing pain, generally to women and people smaller than them. True bullies, they get pleasure from the pain of others. After assaulting a girl, Grant’s world gets turned around and for a moment he is in a world where women are the threatening force. Will it change him?

'Vanner' is a short film that follows the return of Francie Flanagan back to his halting site in Limerick, Ireland after a tragic event at a fair.

 

This is the story of the fallout from this unexpected start to his married life.This is a film that looks at loss, love and traveller tradition.
